The UK Government has gone ahead and rolled out Universal Credit in Fife despite all the evidence that it is causing widespread misery for tens of thousands of people across the country.
Both the Scottish Government and Fife Council are taking action to mitigate the worst elements of this flawed legislation and changes but they cannot address all the issues and that is why we need to keep campaigning to highlight the issues and fight for further changes.
I was pleased to join with many of the campaigners at Glenrothes Job Centre to support the work they are doing to make the public aware of the devastating impact of this flawed legislation as it is important that we keep highlighting the issues, the concerns and the poverty being caused by the Tory Westminster Government.
