I was delighted to join with members of Scotland’s Climate Assembly recently to discuss and listen to views on how Scotland should change to tackle the climate emergency in an effective and fair way following the publishing of the full report by the assembly.
Government, businesses and citizens all have a role to play in securing a sustainable future.
Scotland’s Climate Assembly was Scotland’s first citizens’ assembly focused on climate change. Grounded in Scotland’s Climate Change Act (2019), the Assembly brought together over 100 ordinary citizens from across Scotland to deliberate about the climate emergency.
