Fife Health and Social Care Partnership say they have not got enough qualified ‘Primary Care medical staff and GPs’ to operate the ‘Out of Hours’ services overnight and as a result have closed the ‘Out of Hours’ overnight services in the Queen Margaret Hospital, Dunfermline, Glenrothes Hospital, and St Andrews Community Hospital.
Anyone from Fife needing to access the ‘Out of Hours’ medical services these hospitals provide between midnight and 8am will have to get themselves to the Victoria Hospital in Kirkcaldy. I say, this is not acceptable.
