I was delighted to see the new and upgraded facilities at Lochgelly High School Community Use Sports and Leisure Centre when I joined with local councillor Mark Hood and met staff to hear how things were going.
Whilst there is more to be done, the upgrading of the astro pitches along with a revamp of the gym area and fitness rooms and new equipment that has been installed is proving very popular with both the pupils in school time and the wider public in the evenings and weekends.
Mark is working hard to secure further funding that will see the changing facilities up graded and is urging everyone to pop in and have a look at the much improved facilities and the really good facilities such is the swimming pool.
Classes for induction into the fitness room can be booked any evening and Sunday and there are a range of other classes such as spinning. Just call 01592583493 or pop in to the centre any evening or on a Sunday morning.
