FSB resources and events to support Scottish small businesses

As the Federation of Small Businesses’ (FSB) latest business confidence survey shows, the coronavirus crisis has put an unprecedented level of pressure on Scotland’s small business community.

FSB has therefore launched a new series of online events, free for both members and non-members.

On Wednesday 13 May there will be a Scotland-wide session with Alison Munro from Scottish Enterprise and Pamela Stevenson from Fife Council to answer businesses’ questions about the latest package of enterprise support from central and local government – people in business can sign up to attend here.

Further, FSB members and non-members can sign up to attend our upcoming events in East Lothian, Moray, Glasgow, the Western Isles, Caithness, Inverness and the Borders. We’re updating our events schedule regularly so check back here regularly to keep up to date.

I would also like to highlight FSB’s coronavirus support hub where we’ve collated as much relevant support material as possible for smaller firms, and developed a flow chart to guide those seeking financial help. Please feel free to use this information as a resource for your work – and I would highlight again that this material is free for members and non-members.

FSB continues to press governments at local, Scotland and UK level for sufficient help for business to see them through this crisis. If you’re interested in learning more about the ideas we’re putting forward, we’d be delighted to hear from you.

I hope that this is useful and, as ever, if FSB in Scotland can help with any aspect of your work, please don’t hesitate to get in touch.
