Dedication of Crieff Volunteers Impressive

I recently visited volunteers in Crieff to see first-hand and find out more about the hardworking people making the community a vibrant place to live.

It was fantastic to take a tour of Crieff Cemetery with author Jess Smith and local volunteers, learning about some of those laid to rest there, including Victoria Cross recipient William Reid.

I also met with Carol McGregor MBE to discuss Creative Crieff and hear from Radio Earn’s fantastic Duncan Taylor. Was delighted for my visit to finish with a walk through MacRosty Park with Friends member Isabel Simpson and community councillor Mark Hunter.

I was very impressed with the dedication of volunteers in Creiff and talking to them about the amazing work they are doing to make their community such a great place to live.

It was wonderful to see community volunteers taking care of the local cemetery and meeting with local historian Nancy Johnstone to hear about the history of the area.

Crieff is a great community, but what makes any community great is it’s people, and Crieff has so many working so hard to make the area what it is, and they deserve recognition.
