Cardenden couple Agnes and Robert Cant have once have again have switched on the Christmas lights at their home in Carden Avenue in Cardenden to raise money for McMillan cancer care.
The couple have raised thousands of pounds over the years from donations of the public visiting the house to see the lights and were joined this week by local MSP Alex Rowley who came to see this year’s display and make a donation.
Mr Rowley said; “The display in Carden Avenue is one of the best house displays I have seen and is absolutely worth a visit for the whole family. The dedication of Mr and Mrs Cant who put on this wonderful display covering their house in lights to raise money for such a good cause is wonderful and I hope that if people get the chance they will have a pop round to Carden Avenue and make a small donation to such a worthy cause and enjoy such a wonderful display of Christmas lights”.
