I would like to take this chance to thank everyone involved with Kelty Children’s Gala for all the work they put into organising Saturdays event. Despite the weather the streets were packed and there was lots to do in the park and people had a great time.
There were more young people involved in preparing for the gala this year and this is great for the future. Everyone is welcome to get involved. Also, this year members of the local football teams along with Kelty Hearts FC ran a sevens tournament which was a big success with lots of teams being involved. We also had a new youth race for the coal race which proved to be really popular and again the adult race was a big success.
It is important to say thank you and recognise those who give up their time and put in a great deal of effort for the wider good and I would like to thank everyone involved with events in Kelty on Saturday, well done!
