In a just and compassionate society, everyone should be able to access public services like education, healthcare, housing and transport.
By investing in affordable and accessible services, we can loosen the grip of poverty.
This was the message I discussed when I met with representatives of Age Scotland.
Having good public services is crucial for people of all ages and it is great that so many older people not only say this but are engaged in campaigning for the very best public services for all ages.
