I raised a motion in the Scottish Parliament on the amazing work undertaken by the Scottish Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (SSPCA) in Fife and across the rest of Scotland. You can see the motion below, as well as a briefing from the SSCPA of the work they have been getting up to.

Title: Scottish SPCA in Fife
Motion Text:
That the Parliament recognises the dedicated work of the Scottish Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (SSPCA) in Fife and across the rest of Scotland; understands that, in the first six months of 2018, the SSPCA has already attended 1,236 incidents in Fife, had 12,956 children take part in its free education programme, attended 57 primary schools, rehomed 100 animals and reunited 11 animals with their owners; commends the 4,147 supporters of the SSPCA in Fife; praises one of its largest ongoing campaigns against the illegal puppy trade, which urges people to say no to illegal puppy farms, and wishes Scotland’s animal welfare charity success in its further rescue, rehoming, rehabilitating and release of animals in Fife and across Scotland.
