Parliament motion recognising gymnastic clubs achievements
Fife MSP Alex Rowley has described the achievements of local gymnastic club Acrobay as ‘outstanding’ and has submitted a motion to the Scottish Parliament highlighting their achievements.
The club has gone from strength to strength since opening their new facilities in Rosyth and now has approximately 1,000 members. It provides gymnastics for all in a safe fun environment for children from nine months through to adults. The club also offer hall hire for birthday parties and other events, and are always open to anyone wanting to get involved in gymnastics.

Title: Acrobay Gymnastics Trust
Motion Text:
That the Parliament commends Acrobay Gymnastics Trust, which opened its new facility in Rosyth to the public in June 2016 with 200 members, and is now up to approximately 1,000 members; congratulates the trust on being Scottish Team Champions for five years in succession; recognises that the team has numerous Scottish and British Champions; acknowledges the success at the 2016 FIG British Championships where all of the Acrobay partnerships competing came home with a medal, which consisted of two silvers and a gold; welcomes the contribution that Acrobay gymnasts made to the winning team for Scotland’s entry to the 2016 Celtic Cup and understands that they made up the majority of that team; supports the efforts made by Acrobay to provide gymnastics in a safe and fun environment for children from nine months old through to adults; recognises that it was awarded Scottish Gymnastics most prestigious award, Club of the Year 2016, and wishes everyone involved success in the future.
