Edinburgh Tenants Federation is a voluntary organisation that works to ensure that tenants and residents are able to participate fully in the development and implementation of proposals relating to the social, economic, physical and environmental regeneration of the communities of Edinburgh.
They are currently celebrating their 25 th year of standing up for the rights of tenants in Edinburgh and I joined them this week to celebrate this landmark and all of there achievements.
They described to me there concerns regarding the lack of suitable housing and the need to build more council housing so that every family in Scotland has a decent home to live in which meets their needs.
This is my priority and it will be Scottish labours priority for the next Scottish parliament.
