This week I spoke in the debate which proceeded the First Ministers statement on the Scottish Independence Referendum result and set out my belief that we must unite and work together to tackle the real issues that my constituents and people across Scotland discussed on the door step every day of the independence campaign.
I spoke about the rights that all Scottish citizens should expect and the steps that we need to take to ensure they exist as fully funded and supported realities, not just in name only.
I believe that we must now work to ensure that all Scots have the access to education, jobs, housing, dignity and support in retirement and healthcare that they deserve and; that we must work together to break down the barriers which prevent us form achieving these goals as the people of Scotland expect us to do.
