I took up Willie Clarkes invitation and visited the new build Benarty Centre in Lochore this morning. The new centre is looking good and will be completed by August with activities starting soon afterwards.
Willie has been working for this new centre for many many years and I was delighted to work with him to secure the final part of the funding package over the last few years.
It is a big congratulations to the council workforce who are building the centre and the centre management committee who have planned the new building.
The centre will also have the local office, local library and local police station based within it as well as the kids club, youth centre, fitness and gym hall and function suite and café.
Well done Willie Clarke for years of persistence and absolute belief that this needed to happen.
