It is always a pleasure when I have the opportunity to speak to local school groups when they come in to parliament on a visit. This week I had a challenging morning facing scrutiny and answering difficult political questions from the children of Kings Road Primary School in Rosyth. I hope I was able to answer all their difficult questions thoroughly enough! The school should be very proud of their pupils. I was also delighted to catch up with modern studies pupils from my former school St Columba’s. I enjoyed the lively debate! If any other schools would like to come visit they are always welcome, and I would love to meet and take questions from pupils, their insight is always interesting.
